The World Meets in Wood Buffalo

Almost 500 spectators walked the corridors of Holy Trinity Catholic High School in a span of two days. The Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo hosted yet another grand event during the Alberta Culture Days, showcasing cultural dances from all over the world. Over 115 dancers and 30 volunteers along with the staff of the Association helped in making the show an enormous hit. The show started with a flag march representing the cultural diversity of the Wood Buffalo region and was a platform to an array of dances from Salsa to Classical Indian, Aboriginal to Hoop and Poi. During intermission the viewers enjoyed Multicultural food and tantalized their taste buds. For more information on future programs, visit www.multiculturefm.org
